How much do I have to pay up front?
Usual projects are 50% up front and 50% at the end. [ back to top ]
Once we have discussed everything about your project I will send you an invoice with freshbooks. You can pay the invoice with your credit card through paypal or just use your paypal account to pay the invoice. [ back to top ]
How long does it take to complete a project?
Giving a time frame for a project is hard to do. A lot of it is dependent on the client approving designs and returning emails in a regular amount of time. We will do everything we can to meet any deadline and finish your project in a timely fashion. [ back to top ]
Are there any other fees I have to pay for?
Besides our design and coding charges there are also other costs such as registering a domain, web hosting, and monthly charges for bigcartel. You can get domains on godaddy.com for under $10 a year, hosting for around $5 a month, and bigcartel costs $10-20 a month. After your website has been finished and you still require more changes we charge $25 an hour. Your site will be run on some of the best content management systems so most of the updating can be done by you. [ back to top ]
What is a content management system (CMS)?
A content management system is a software package that enables content to be managed on a website. A content management system allows one or more authors to prepare and publish information online, without needing to prepare HTML code. What this means is you can easily update and manage your website without any knowledge of html. We work in a couple of different content management systems. WordPress is a dynamic publishing tool for managing website content using a web browser. The platform is opensource and widely used by leading news agencies and corporations. Has a user friendly interface for publishing text and media. Also works great to optimize a website for search engines with plugins. [ back to top ]

What do you use for mailing lists?
We can use whatever mailing list you want but I would recommend mailchimp. They offer a free mailing list for up to 1,000 subscribers and you can send out up to 6,000 emails a month. This is usually good enough for any company starting out and you can always export your mailing list subscribers to another mailing list if things don’t work out. [ back to top ]
